She has released a series of critically acclaimed singles and two EPs.

Her recent single “I Want You” has been featured on the Spotify editorial playlists New Music Friday and An Alternative Future, and championed across RTE radio in Ireland, as well as radio stations in Germany, the US and the UK. It was also featured on the TV series “Made In Chelsea”.

Ria Rua also recently wowed audiences in Dublin’s Vicar Street - supporting Soda Blonde.

In the summer of 2023 she travelled to the Czech Republic to play at the United Islands of Prague Festival and headlined the 2023 Musictown Festival, Dublin.

Her first release of 2024 was her second EP - comprised of live and remixed versions of a fan favourite, “Asking For It”. The live version was recorded live in Camden Studios Dublin, and the Remixes were done by the acclaimed DJ and remix artist Arveene (The Prodigy, Felix the Housecat).

The remix was played extensively on Irish national radio, the BBC - where it was track of the week on Across the Line - and was recently confirmed to feature prominently in the next Nicolas Cage movie, “The Surfer” which will be released theatrically worldwide in 2025. It was also played on 1Live - Germany’s most popular radio station and on dozens and dozens of radio stations around the world.

Ria was also featured in Billboard Magazine, as part of an expose on sexism and sexual harassment in the music industry.

Her debut album S.C.A.P.E.G O A T is currently being mixed by Grammy Winning mix engineer Ruadhri Cushnan (Mumford and Sons, Ed Sheeran).

In the last 12 months Ria's music has been played on radio over 1500 times. It has been play-listed on stations in the US, UK, Ireland, France, Germany, etc, etc.

She was also included on the 2025 Yahoo! Entertainment/Louder list of "10 brilliant new Irish artists..." adding, "the buzz around Ria Rua  will be amplified from a whisper to a scream this year."
